  • christmas series: out of darkness

We would love for you and your family to join us on Sundays this Christmas season for our "Out of Darkness" series!

  • icc christmas party

Join us for our annual church-wide Christmas party on December 10th at 5pm! This will be an amazing time together as we share delicious party food, show off our favorite Ugly Christmas sweaters in our annual contest, test our Christmas Trivia knowledge, and capture memories at our photo booth! This year we will not be serving a full dinner. Instead, we are asking everyone to bring their favorite party food or appetizer to share.

We can't wait to be together then!

  • Women's Ministry Vision Breakfast

Women of ICC, you are invited: our Women's Discipleship Coordinator (Deacon) Meri Beth Rein will be hosting a breakfast in the lobby on the morning of Saturday, December 16 from 9:00 until about 10:30. Open to any and all women, it will be a sweet time to connect with other women across the life of our church, ask questions, and share ideas about ICC women's ministry and to begin to dream about our upcoming Women's Retreat on March 22nd!

If you think you might be available and interested in joining us for breakfast on the 16th, please go ahead and RSVP below. This is not required but will certainly help us plan to feed you!

  • angel tree

You can select an Angel Tree ornament in the lobby this Sunday! Each ornament represents people in our community that is connected with our church including refugee families, St. Jude families, and families in Uptown. This is great opportunity to bless and share the love of Christ to our friends this Christmas season!

Gifts must be delivered to the church no later than Sunday, December 17th.

Our next Family Meeting will be on Sunday, December 17th immediately after service. During our time together, we will vote on the 2024 Ministry Budget. ICC members, please make plans to join us!

Our candlelight Christmas Eve service will be at 5pm. It will be a special time as we worship, share the Christmas story, and reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Every January, we take time to focus on global missions at ICC. Our GO! Week Conference will begin on January 14, 2024.

Looking for a chance to get away for a night, be spiritually refreshed and renewed, and connect deeply with other women across the life of our church? Then we have a perfect opportunity for you! Join our ICC Women's Retreat on March 22nd-23rd for a fun and intentional time of growing together. We would love for you to be a part of this experience!

  • StuCo

At StuCo, students belong to more. Every Tuesday night at 7pm, college and professional school students come together to belong to a meaningful community that seeks to build one another up to follow Jesus. Whether you’re at UTHSC, SCO, UofM, or at another school in the city, come and experience the joy of “together” and belong to more!

  • learning cohorts

We are currently in the process of relaunching our Learning Cohorts! Cohorts are high level Learning Environments designed to train and equip ministry leaders. These are an integral piece of moving towards our vision of church growth, church planting, and missions sending. We currently have two active cohorts: Pastoral Ministry and Women in Church Leadership, and plans to relaunch our Global Missions Cohort in the new year. If you are exploring a call to pastoral ministry and/or church leadership and desire to be equipped, reach out to Mitchell Morris for information about the application process.

  • Sunday volunteers

Looking for a way to serve? Becoming a Sunday volunteer is a great opportunity to get connected to others and help make ministry possible. Sign up today to serve one Sunday a month in one of five areas: media, prayer, hospitality, kids, or ministry environments.

Did you know we have an online giving option at ICC?  You can make one-time or recurring financial gifts to Island Community Church online through our website. This is a great way to give faithfully and regularly. It's simple, secure, and quick to set-up. Click here to be redirected now.

All donations are tax-deductible and will be reported year-end just as all other contributions to our church. Thank you for your continued support of the ministries of ICC in Memphis and around the world!
