  • fall series: REDEEMING GRACE

This Fall, we are excited to study the Book of 2 Samuel as a church on Sundays! In the Spring, we journeyed through 1 Samuel and now we will have opportunity to complete the story as we study 2 Samuel.

Christian discipleship is an invitation to reorient all of our reality to the beauty and glory of the Triune God, in whom all things have their source, support, and end. At ICC, we believe that a disciple is someone who lives in loving relationship with and joyful obedience to Jesus (Matthew 22:36-40, Luke 9:23, John 14:15), and we believe that the local church is the primary context in which disciples learn to know and follow Him (Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16). Since our conviction is that deep, holistic discipleship is driven by a combination of community and learning, we desire every believer in our church to be committed to maturing in both love of God and love of neighbor.

Learn about these two discipleship opportunities and consider how you can commit to discipleship in this season!

  • fall fest

Have you been looking for a great way to connect with your neighbors? Well, we are so excited to bring back Fall Fest neighborhood gatherings again this year! This time of the year creates a great opportunity to connect with your neighbors, especially neighbors you haven’t met yet! We want to challenge you to host a gathering for your neighbors this Halloween! Our deepest desire is that you would use this opportunity to begin building intentional relationships with the people who live right next door! Hosting a neighborhood gathering is just one you can begin to foster these relationships. We, as a church, want to support you by helping to resource you, provide supplies, and coach you on how you can host an amazing event.

  • ivory coast

We have an urgent mission trip need! Our partner Ebele in Ivory Coast and Dr. Tooley need two medical professionals or upper class medical students, and a couple non-medical team members to join us on a November mission trip for medical clinics and Gospel sharing in Ivory Coast! If you would be willing to go, register here or contact Lauren Vernon.

Join us on Saturday, October 23rd, at 9am for an opportunity to serve by helping us with planting Fall flowers. Feel free to invite a friend as well! Contact Alan Payton with any questions or to confirm attendance.

  • serving and empowering Refugees

Join us Friday, November 5th, at 6pm as World Relief Mobilizer, Catherine Gross, joins us at Global Missions Focus to share how to care for refugees - serving and empowering the poor and vulnerable cross-culturally. Global Missions Focus is the first Friday of every month at 6pm. Dinner will be provided.

  • refugee care

We continue to be committed to do all we can to help meet needs that have emerged from the crisis in Afghanistan. Currently, our two best practical opportunities as a church family are:

    1) Give for Refugee Housing. We are hoping to be able to give a significant financial gift from our church in upcoming weeks to help provide housing for refugee families arriving into Memphis from Afghanistan. If you feel led to give a special one-time gift to ICC to help with this cause, you can give online here

    2) Sign up for a Refugee Ministry Team. We are actively building a team of people from ICC who will be trained and equipped to build relationships, serve, and share hope with the Afghan refugee families when they arrive. If you're interested in this ministry, please sign up here.

    Have questions? Contact Lauren Vernon.

In ICC Kids, our goal is to create a safe and loving environment in which children entrusted to our care are able to learn about the character of God, discover biblical truth, and learn what it means to follow Jesus. If you are interested in becoming a kids volunteer, contact Ashley Ferguson, our Family Ministry Director, at
