the story of icc global missions

Picture this. A South Asian country where the gospel is not known. A mom goes into preterm labor in a community where health resources are scarce. Her family takes her to a well-renowned local mission hospital where she meets and receives specialty care from a Christian, American OB-GYN. After hours of labor, the doctor hands a tiny, yet miraculously healthy baby to her anxiously awaiting mother. As the family looks on with gratitude, the doctor beams with joy of this God moment and gets an opportunity to share the hope that Jesus offers.

This is a story of Global Missions. But it’s not a story that started in South Asia. It’s a story that started at ICC. This is the story of a young woman who came to Memphis for medical residency, hoping to leave Memphis with a job. But through her time at ICC, she experienced God’s heart for the nations and her unique place to answer his call through the gifts and skill of medicine for the sake of the spread of the gospel and His glory among all people. She is just one of many stories, including yours. We are thrilled our partners from around the world will be joining us for this year's GO! Week. This is an incredible opportunity for you to learn, grow, and find YOUR unique place in this story- the greatest story ever told.

With joy,

Barrett Bowden,

This year's Global Missions Week is designed to give you the unique opportunity to connect with, learn from, and get more involved with our ICC Mission Partners who will be present with us from around the world.

Please come to as many events as you can. Coffee and snacks will be provided at each gathering. Our partners will be available after each evening session to spend personal time with you and answer any questions you may have about their ministry and/or the 2019 opportunities you have to serve with them.
