Stewardship ministry

We are called to a life of thankful dependence on God and stewardship of the resources He has given to us. The Bible reminds us: "all things come from you, and of your own we have given you" (1 Chronicles 29:14). We are motivated to see our resources used to impact our world for the glory of God. Money is a resource to be managed for the purposes of God, not a treasure to be hoarded or wasted. We believe in creating margin, both in our lives and in our finances, so that we are prepared to give when God presents opportunities to use our resources in a way that glorifies Him and brings others into His kingdom.

Check out the two opportunities below that can help you become a better steward of your finances!

FINANCIAL COACHING

Are you looking to get a control on your finances and wanting to become a good steward of God's money? Our financial coach, Brenton Moore, would love to help you! Brenton is a Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Coach as well as a co-leader of FPU with his wife, Heather.

If you have debt (student or commercial), have yet to put aside three months of expenses in a savings account, have yet to start saving for retirement or kids' college, or are facing bankruptcy, foreclosure, collectors, or needing help building wealth, we want to help you.

Through Financial Coaching, you will learn how to create a budget and how to turn simple goals into healthy spending habits and be shown the importance of managing the resources that God has entrusted to us. Everything discussed is completely confidential. Financial Coaching is available to singles and couples (both spouses must be present).

The first 60-90 minute session is free to all ICC members, and each additional session is a flat fee of $50. For non-members the cost is $150 per session.
