Did you know we have an online giving option at ICC? You can make one-time or recurring financial gifts to Island Community Church online through our website. This is a great way to give faithfully and regularly. It's simple, secure, and quick to set-up. Click here to be redirected now.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be reported year-end just as all other contributions to our church. Thank you for your continued support of the ministries of ICC in Memphis and around the world!
Join us as we partner with Memphis Athletic Ministries Friday, December 14th, 5:30pm at Greenlaw Place to love and mentor the kids of the Uptown neighborhood. There will be plenty of fun, smiles and laughter; all we need is you! You will love the opportunity to invest yourself through fun games, casual conversations, and developing relationships. You can make a huge difference in a child's life as you take time to get to know them and love them as God has loved us. You may be the very mentor they need. Our monthly ministry time with M.A.M. meets at Greenlaw Community Center in Uptown (190 Mill Avenue, 38105). Sign up to serve online.
ICC has been a long-time partner with St. Jude's Target House to serve their families in our community. For years, we have provided a consistent group to offer crafts and hope to families. We take a group of volunteers the third Monday of each month in an effort to give kids a couple of hours to just "be a kid" and forget about the difficulties they are facing. Time at the Target House is one of the most rewarding experiences. Our ministry event begins at 6:00pm on December 17th and will last no more than two hours. The Target House is located at 1811 Poplar Avenue in Midtown. It is best to enter from the side entrance on McLean and proceed to the back of the building entrance. Sign up online.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program with foundations firmly established in Biblical truth. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery offers participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship; bringing hope, freedom, sobriety, and healing through Jesus Christ. Whether it be addiction, anxiety, alcoholism, abuse, abandonment or anything else, there is no problem too big or too small that we cannot face together as a Celebrate Recovery community. Join us Friday's at 6:30.
Speak English? You can make a difference! One of the unique privileges of our location is that we are surrounded by people from all over the world! We actively work to engage and minister to internationals in our community. One of our primary platforms for ministry is our free ESL classes offered Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. We are hoping to grow our ministry & programs this year. Many volunteers are needed. Please share this information & invite an international!

Every month, ICC spends our first Tuesday hosting Trivia Night for the residents of the Glenmary Retirement Home in Midtown. Trivia Night is consistently one of the most anticipated events for residents of the Glenmary, many of whom cannot get out on their own. It provides a unique environment where we can love, laugh, eat and spend time with others who desperately need company and friendship. Serve with us next month, January 1st at 6:00pm. Meet at the Glenmary in Midtown. Sign up to serve online.
We are so thankful to have many in our church community who have felt God's stirring or call upon their hearts & lives to move toward missions full-time. We have an intentional fellowship group meeting monthly that is designed to provide needed encouragement, exploration, community and equipping with a view toward sending. It is our hope that God will bless and use this group to send many from ICC into the world to serve the needy and share the grace and love of Christ. Whether you are early in the exploration process or ready to pack-up tomorrow and go, we invite you to commit to this group. Interested? Contact us today.
Are you new to ICC or interested in learning more about the church? During the seminar, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the church, engage with the pastors, and ask any questions you may have. Free lunch will be provided. Sign up here to join us September 16th following worship.
